Carroll County Business & Employment Resource Center offers many ways to help you find a job! Job seekers will find access to hundreds of current job listings, an extensive career and employment resource lab, professional career assessment and counseling; individual skill development and job search workshops; training; one-on-one assistance with resume and interview preparation and job fairs featuring local major employers. Best of all, these services are free of charge!

Job Openings

• Job Boards: Hundreds of job openings are posted yearly on the job boards at the Business & Employment Resource Center. Drop in any time during our office hours.

• Maryland Workforce Exchange (MWE): Our job orders, as well as thousands of others, are entered into MWE every day. Access this on-line job tool at www.mwejobs.com.

• Job Fairs: We hold two major job fairs as well as smaller more industry-related job fairs throughout the year. Call or check the calendar for details.
  

New Customer Orientation

Do you want to know how to get started? Would you like a tour of the center to see for yourself how CCBERC can help you find a great job?

The best way to begin using the Business & Employment Resource Center is to attend a New Customer Orientation session which is held every morning at 9:00 a.m. You do not need an appointment. At this time we will thoroughly explain our services, give you a tour of the center and begin giving you the tools that will make you successful. If you are unable to attend the 9:00 a.m. session, we will schedule a more convenient time for you. Call 410.386.2820 to arrange a time.

If you would just like to visit the center, we are open to anyone for self-directed job search anytime during our operating hours.
