Workshops
The Carroll County Business & Employment Resource Center holds a
variety of workshops for job seekers throughout the month. These workshops
are free of charge and open to anyone. Topics change and occasionally
new topics are added.
Check the BERC calendar for dates. Unless otherwise noted, customers
do not need to register to attend these workshops.

Services Counselors
DORS counselors help individuals with
disabilities find and keep jobs in careers of of their choice.

This 2-day workshop covers the emotional side of unemployment and offers

Resume Critique by Appointment
One-on-one resume assistance. When arriving for your individual
appointment, please bring along a copy of your current resume, a draft
copy, or your work history to get started on your first resume. (go

Skills Assessments
Assessments to evaluate skill levels in customer care, clerical,
typing and data entry, basic academic skills and computer software applications.
